ATM Dubai 2026: The biggest moments from the opening day
DUBAI – The opening day of Arabian Travel Market (ATM) Dubai 2026 brought major announcements, high-profile visits, new aviation products and a strong focus on the future of travel at Dubai World Trade Centre.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum visited the exhibition as Dubai welcomed tourism leaders, airlines, hospitality brands and technology companies from around the world. His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also toured the show, visiting key stands and exploring the latest travel products and innovations.
Etihad Airways unveiled its new Airbus A330 cabin concept, including a renewed First Class offering, while Emirates showcased its latest electrically powered Premium Economy seat with adjustable privacy dividers.
Technology was another major highlight, with ATM Travel Tech making its debut, bringing more than 180 exhibitors from 30 countries and showcasing AI, robotics, immersive technology, fintech and other innovations.
Dubai Police attracted attention with its smart security showcase and Mansory Ferrari 812 Superfast, while Sri Lankan cultural performances and Al Ain Zoo's wildlife displays added colour and entertainment to the busy opening day.
